Norris Ward McKinnon employs lawyers, legal executives and support staff from all over New Zealand, and from overseas. We have a large number of graduates from the University of Waikato and have a strong and long-standing business connection to the University and Te Piringa — Faculty of Law.

We enjoy helping students from schools, universities and other education providers gain insight into the rewards of a career within a law firm.

Our Summer Clerk programme runs annually, from early November to late February. The programme is targeted at law students in their final year of study. Over the summer students experience two different specialist teams and gain valuable insight into the workings of a legal business, client interaction, and technical knowledge.
